Has anyone here added the optional C69 cornering lamps to their car after the fact? If so, how involved was the project for you? I recently picked up an '87 Limited with chrome trim and it has everything I'd hoped for except the lamps. Obviously there's some body work involved (either cutting holes or swapping out the fenders from a donor car that had the lamps) but is the wiring a huge hassle, or....?

Thanks!

The wiring isn't a hassle - it plugs right into the stock harness - the plugs are already there. I have a set of mint cornering light fenders you can have for cheap as I no longer have a Limited. PM me...I want to move these things out so I am real flexible on price and shipping.

And here I thought. Jeez I can answer one...low boy got it......Have a Limited and a GN. It's as he said, all there............

You need to replace the turn signal switch. There are some extra wires there. There is a remote possibilty the switch is already the correct one seeing as you have a Limited and to get those lamps you had to buy cruise control and delay wipers with a tilt wheel as a package deal. And I think the front lamp harness is different too. I dont remember but I think there was a different connector with an extra wire on the one connector where the bumper park lamps plug in. The harness going to the actuall cornering lamp is just a jumper harness that plugs into that one connector. Again it may be there on a Limited.
