Have question for those with Simmon Wheels

I order the Simmon wheels 17x 8 1/2 fronts and 17x 9 1/2 rear and my question is since i used the Hothckis lowering springs and will be using the 285/40/17 tires (rear) with Simmon wheels will the tires rub or do i have to trim the fender wells? also i have the gnx flares

Hey Y-hate,

It depends on the back space and the tire (manufacture) that you are running. Even though they are 285, they still vary in over all width slightly depending on manufacture.

Either way, I would still guess you will need to roll the rear fender lips.

I bought a set of 285/40/17 BFGOODRICH for the rear and they look very wide, but i will cut the fenderwell off anyway... seen it done on a silver and black car in BG...thanks
