Just got a tranlator and Maf. How do I mount the Maf?
The stocker had 2 threaded holes in it and bolted to a bracket mounted to the frame. What hold up the new one?
Thanks

Most people run a solid Maf pipe in place of the expandable stock hose. so the Maf is held up between the Maf pipe and the K&N filter or their Cold air kit.

I've got the Tomka cold air kit. Also just bought a MAF pipe from Turbo Regal Custom Parts. I'd like to have the solid pipe, new MAF and then the intake hose from the Tomka setup which goes to the K&N behind the bumper. Will just the rubber coupling from the pipe to the turbo hold everything up? Think I need to support stuff - somehow.
Thanks

The pipe attached to it should hold it in place okay. I'm not sure where the MAF placement will be with the Tomka kit, but you may be able to run a couple of long zip ties around the AC lines and under the MAF for extra stability... I have done that before.

Hose was too short (story of my life) from the K&N. Then had to get creative with the PCV adaptor pieces so the "big neck" K&N would attach to the MAF. Got it done, though.
How's the tranny from Jimmy's? Tell me more off list.
Thanks
