header gasket

i was wondering if there is a gasket that goes between the head and a factory header,i am going to swap the cracked one on the car for another one so i need to know if i have to get that gasket,thanks

Originally came with no gasket. But over time many have started to use gaskets. Exhaust gaskets for NA Regals are the same by Felpro. $6 a set or about $14 for more expensive type. Make sure your header flange surface is flat by filing with a flat file before re-installing.

Yeah, gaskets are not required and they shouldn't warp unless you weld them wrong. Only use a gasket if you have a warped flange.
