The header to turbo flange keeps leaking and I cannot stop it for nothing.

I've tryed no gasket sanding both sides perfect, leaked on every side.

Tryed to make a paper gasket with red rtv and it just blew out after 10 psi boost.

It had a copper gasket in there when I bought the car that is cracked a bunch and leaks super bad, not sure what I should do.

Napa wont have the paper gasket for a week, and i'm afraid it will just blow out.

Read a post that autozone part #9097 works wonders... anyone tryed this worth a shot?

Autozone shows a felpro exhaust flange gasket with that number. I don't know what it is, but worth a look for $.89.

If I was you I would go to the local PERFORMANCE parts store and inquire to them about a copper header to turbo gasket for your year Turbo Buick. I went to autozone and they had no idea what I was talking about (go figure) I can't remember the name of the company that made my gasket but I got lucky and asked the guy at the counter who owned a GN and he had ordered and extra.

altho GM no longer stocks the Riviera gasket, NAPA carries the equivalent. It is a graphite gasket, and the ONLY thing that has cured that problem for my car. I'm sorry, I don't have a part# but if you do a search here, you can find the GM part# for the Riv gasket, and NAPA will cross reference it for you. I bought 3 or 4 of them. They had to order it from out of State, but it only took a couple of days. HTH

I have a Riviera gasket on order, but these $.89 ones work GREAT, finally something stopped the leak!

9097 is the part number, they have them at autozone, checker, and advanced auto.

Put a little red high temp on them and it sealed perfectly, we'll see how it holds up!

You could also try a riviera gasket.

As mentioned, Riv gasket is not available through GM. NAPA Riv replacement gasket is G26951........made by Victor. About $3.
