The chip is a Joe Lubrant from PTE, Precision Turbo and Engine. Timing is set at a modest 20
 
Get some more timing and boost to it :biggrin:

If the car has the original valve springs, i would put new ones in if the car doesnt pull on the top end.

Yes, the Direct Scan is a tuning aid that gives you a little more data and the ability to replay your runs in several playback formats. You already have a scan tool, but the Direct Scan will allow you to replay and share data with others.

Just run what you have and enjoy !!!!! Maybe add a knock gauge like the one from Caspers.
 
Almost the same Combo

My car just about has the same combo. with 140,000mi My dyno numbers are below. Cam & Heads are out of the question. The motor has never been opened.
 
If your installing the valve springs yourself, be carefull I know a bunch of people that have wiped a lobe on there cam from messing up the valve spring install......just letting you know.
 
Just wandering how can you mess up on valve spring install. Maybe if you install the wrong springs? :confused:
 
Valve Springs

Thanks for the concern on valve springs but they are aready done, so is the timing chain.

I was told by previous owner of car I should put on a pt54 turbo

I sure Frank new what he is talking about, but will this work with current combo? or would I be beter off leaving turbo alone and doing something else.

How Fast

how fast?? very good question. I would love 10's but if I do that what can I expect for problems with lower end of engine? Also would I be better off install a bigger turbo or going the head cam route?

turbo cost $500-$1000

ported heads and cam cost??
