Some folks just learn the hard way.

Looks like the air bags deployed.....seems silly when you look at the carnage.

I'm thinking the bumper cover came off early in the mayhem. The windsheild and a-pillars are at such a bizzare angle that it had to hit something in the front, too.

And yes, the trans looks like it's broken in half and hanging by a cable. It's still dripping fluid.

It's too bad, those are beautiful cars. Senseless death, too. But, it's natural selection at work. Everyone that owns a Collector's Edition T/A just got a little bump in their car's value.

I'm sure the a pillars and windshield are in a bad angle after the removal of the body.

Whats that antenna looking thing sticking up about 5' in the air on the passengers side??

Hard to tell Frank, but it almost looks like a residential street sign. At least it does in the 2nd pic.

i guess when i finally finish with the whole fire acadmey bit i should be use to seeing brains and guts all over huih?

I don't think you ever really get used to it. You learn to tolerate it and try to forget it as soon as possible. A real sick sense of humor helps........That's the way firemen deal with this stuff.

I remember one night we cut a 22 year old girl out of a car. She had wrapped it around a utility pole. Once we got her out and found her ID, we figured out we knew her. She was tight with one of our firefighters. She was getting off work to go on a date with him. We had to call him and tell him she wasn't gonna make the date.

If the occupants of the car are pronounced what we call "DRT" (dead right there) by the paramedics, we have to wait on the coroner's office to come get the bodies. Just cover them up with a plastic tarp and wait.
