Sell it quickly!!!!!!

A long time ago I was told by a friend who's brother had a GN.

"The turbo will go out at 30k miles and the engines need to be rebuilt by 40k"

I might break 40k this year but I don't mind as I LOVE to drive it :-)

Mine did that back in '88 or '89

I don't think you are getting the full enjoyment of driving it.

Original motor & trans never opened, current odo 197,600. It's still raced (most current was the West Coast Nats last November) and has two successful Silver State Challenge / Touring Class runs under her belt (car was driven to event each time). Alky + 19-20 psi every day baby....:)

Awesome Drip! Heads have never been off? Ive had head gaskets and a valve job + new cam and chain.

The car has a newer timing chain, oil pump and rear main, that's it. Even the valvesprings are still original after all these years plus running that 90-mile race twice at WOT where the water temp got up to 240+*.

About to roll to 154k, heads never off, 28psi w/ alky beaten on every time out of the garage. Been pushing 25+ psi for over 15k miles. Replaced timing chain & valve springs sometime between 140k & 144k.

Car runs too good to go and change something. Hopefully it'll make it to 200k before it needs anything major.

150s... thats it???

My car has 250,000 and counting.. Im in the middle of rebuild... Original owners rebuild had a bunch of moneys w wrenches so I must clean everthing up..Perfect exp.. they forgot the slinger(big washer that keeps oil on chain). hole in front timimg cover so they decided to put a hv pump to compensate.. Wish they would compensate all the time money and headache.. Congrats to all those turnover w little maintence.. Im jealous..

Mine ('86 GN) had a "2" in front of that number......and it was stolen from me in '93. Who knows what the mileage would be now?
