how do the fiberglass bumpers work?

how do the fiberglass bumpers work?

Is it the "skin" that goes over the support? or is it a one peice design?

I have never seen one in person. Can someone who has one that hasn't been installed yet take pictures of the back of one?

They replace the entire bumper, support and all. I believe they weigh about 6 lbs each. Also, if you are involved in an accident, it might be difficult to explain to your insurance company. With that said.... I run both

my VFN rear bumper is just the skin .. I'll be swiss cheesing my alum filler and using that for support
