hey guys.. i'm on delcity.net ordering some electrical stuff.. i need to know how many amps the headlight system on our cars will pull on high.. i made the headlight hotwire kit but i didnt fuse it  so while im ordering all these supplies i need to get an inline fuse holder... any ideas?

Using Ohms law, figuring for a 55w high beam, I gdet somewhere around 3 1/2 amps per bulb. P=IxE. We know P (55watts) and E (14volts) so, 55watts / 14volts is somewhere around 3.3amps (without doing the math). This is PER bulb. Remember vol.ts and amps are inversly proportionate, so if voltage goes down, current goes up. So, IMHO when you figure fuses and wire sizes, I'd base it on the minimum operating voltage (of somewhere around 11.5-12v)

While were on the subject, use a self resetting breaker for the headlights
