Nope it has 23k, I drove it home last night, about 120 miles, it now has 23050 mi.
miles are documented by paperwork,+ the interior has virtually no wear, the dash actually still has the original clear plastic sheeting on it, there is still crayon marks on the firewall from when it went down the assembly line,(the # 54) which is the code for the Beige Cream paint.
I was really looking for a 10 sec car,but as soon as he pulled up with the car ,i knew it was coming home with me,we went for a long drive in it + i checked it all out,but it had me at hello + was sold before i got out of my truck + walked over to it.
It's 1 thing to see them in pics, but it's so unique to see something like this,It really takes you by surprise just how out of the ordinary it is,first you see a color you almost never see unless you really dig for one on the internet,+ then when you open the door there is that tan interior, staring you in the face,+Its a whole new surprise because you hardly ever see that too.+ this interior literally is like new. my exact words or word was Wow!
Only thing i'm not thrilled with is it still had the orig exhaust ,+ he just installed a dual setup from the cat back its not loud but i would prefer the original super quiet stuff because its a bone stock car otherwise.
Could use paint to be super nice, the original owner,(a woman) lost control of it back in 91 + ended up in someones front yard + damaged the nose, so the front end has newer paint,i believe the rest is original paint ,+ its not terrible, spots could be touched up, but the car is so straight + so unique,+ 0 rust,+ such low miles,If I have it this coming winter i'll prob have it stripped + put nice paint on it.
Probably bright red or orange. :eek:Just kidding

Congrats. Second time I missed out on that car....:D. I was supposed to meet Tim this afternoon to pick it up. I called and he said he sold it last night. I missed it also when it was on craigslist 3 years ago in NJ. Guess it wasn't meant to be.....Nice car though.

Ya 25k otta cover it,

No I didn't buy it to make money,I just can't resist rare, different, out of the ordinary things. If i do decide to sell it its going to be priced right,I hate selling things for weeks on end,If I do put something for sale i want it gone yesterday.
I'm still looking for a built car,11-10 sec.+ may consider trading up, down or even.
The combo of the miles, price, rust free condition,+ cool color combo, just wouldn't let me pass it up,I bugged him to let me come check it out,it had already bid up to his reserve,+ he also had people coming the next day to look ,but decided to let me come by,i told him i was coming with cash + wanted the car,+ could leave right away + would be there in 2 hours.
It was all just good timing.

Like that T you bought in Northern MA :P. Every time I like a car, you seem to swoop in and buy it lol. I don't care at all. I am just saying. But if you do sell it let me know first.. That is if you don't want to make any profit :D.

He told me,he had a few diff people from ny that wanted it on thurs.+ somebody was offering to pay him to drive it to ohio.
I guess you were one of the new york people.
It really is a sweet car,If i find a nice 10-11 sec car it may be back up for sale soon.Maybe that will be your time. I really don't want to tear into this car,+ start modding it.I don't really have the time or patience to build one,I just want it turnkey + ready to rip.but i just couldn't find the will power to pass it up.
I had it out in the driveway today + it turned every last head of people going by,it made me wonder how many knew what it is,+ how many just saw a cool looking old car,I had a couple cars with kids in it stop + say, cool car man,+ the kid across the st sure likes it, told me so multiple times.

Well You see, thats how i guage how much interest i have in a car, I first ask them if znix has been inquiring about the car,+ if they say yes, then i must have it at all cost,:eek:but if they say no,it's kinda like Ehhh!! i can take it or leave it. ;)

Congrats on getting the car, I have always loved that car. I just missed out on it a few years ago when a guy had it for sale in Jersey, just couldnt get over there in time. I might have had it this time but I bought by newest TR, my WE4, literally the day before it went up on Ebay!!! When I started looking for another Turbo car a few weeks ago I kept saying to the wife, "I wish that cream T with the salvage title would come up for sale again". Sure enough, I buy a car and it shows up the next day. Oh well. The title issue wouldnt even bother me, just having a clean low mileage car for that price would be awesome. Good luck with it, Im sure its a beautiful car.

Thanks, Ya the title doesn't bother me,the car was fixed 20 yrs ago,+ if i didn't know about it,I never would have known it was ever damaged, you can't tell by looking,or driving it,It drives as good as any other tr out there,+ probably better then most, because of the extremely low miles,+ the fact that it was always adult owned,+ well cared for.

Congrats! I have had my eye on this car for a while, I think I saw it for sale last year or the year before maybe? I don't remember exactly but it's an awesome color combo, I have never seen another one like it. I always appreciate something different and rare from the factory like this car. Enjoy!

Thanks, I havn't registered it yet but my buddy threw his repair plate on it + i took it for the first real ride with me driving, when i bought it i just let him drive,
it really drives excellent, is actually very strong for being basically stock,I live on a pretty steep hill,+ coming up i stepped on it + it broke the tires loose at about 20 going up the hill,my buddy couldn't believe it,he never drove in one before + never thought a v6 car would be that strong,he had actually never heard of 1 + had no clue what the car even was,He became an instant tr fan right there + then.Wait till he gets into my next built one.:D
We had a guy in a mustang following us + i thought he was trying to get me to race but he followed us for a while + flashed his lights a couple diff times ,so i stopped + it turns out he has a couple tr's, + never saw the cream color + wanted to know if it was the original color,+ didn't believe me when i said it was ,+ was amazed that he had never seen or heard of the color before,+ he has had 1 of his cars for 20 yrs. He actually came over today to take some pics of it,+ is trying to get me to trade for his supercharged mustang or a grey t-type + cash.
