How much gas is used in a 1/4 in a 10 second TR?

Just wondering if anyone knows about how much is used per pass. I have a friend with a fuel injected SBF that goes 10.0 on motor and he uses one gallon from before the burout until he gets back to the pits.

I wonder how much gas a 10 second TR would use. It's gotta be close to a gallon...

I use about $80 worth of 116 going to & from the track including some 1/4 mile passes

There are some other questions that must be asked: what size injector, how much boost, pulse width, fuel pressure.....blah,blah,blah....you get the idea.

I burn up a 1/4 of a tank on a Friday night making about 10 runs and about 30 miles of cruising...but my combo is mild 11.80-12.20

I can only speak for myself but in my car it's approx. 1 gal. per pass. The car weighs 3700 lbs and has a trap speed of 136 M.P.H. I would expect cars with similar performance etc would use about the same amount of fuel.

You know what I was thinking would be awesome? A way to plug your injector, pump, fuel pressure, vehicle weight, etc into DS, and it would act like a mileage/range computer for you. DS already reads all kinds of things about how much fuel is spurting, and you know the size of the tank... Would be a neat toy for long trips.

I use slightly less than a gallon per pass.
