Here's the deal...

87 GN with 009s, LT1 3" MAF w/ Translator Plus and Extender chip (rev F). At idle I have a high BLM...in the 140s. WOT it's locked at 128. All other ranges, such as cruising at 40 or 70 mph, light acceleration, etc., my BLMs are always low...in the 105-114 range.

I just got back from a long road trip (1150 miles) and I didn't get exactly the kind of mileage I expected. I only got 19.5 mpg and I rarely got into it the whole trip. Mostly highway cruising.

I understand parameter 11 of the Extender can adjust BLMs up or down, but I need my idle BLM adjusted down and the others adjusted up.

The car drives fine. Good throttle response, no tip in stumbling common to 009s, no knock on 93 pump gas and 16ish PSI boost. My O2 sensor seems to be cycling properly and I'm pretty confident my ignition system is up to snuff.

Right now, the Trans + is set for lean idle (which could explain why my idle BLM is high) and the Extender is set for lean cruise. I set the Trans + to lean idle hoping to bring my cruise BLMs down. It's not working as I planned.

Just wondering what's the right thing to do to bring up my cruise BLMs. One thought would be a stuck open injector. But how would I check for this?

Thanks
Mike

It could be tps settings.I would check all my settings tps idle air count etc to see if they are in range. Then I would turn off the lean cruise spoolup feature etc. set the Base MAF and see what it says at cruise then.
