Took the car out to tune & only get 14 psi boost. Yesterday boost was set at 22psi.
Turned the wg actuator in up to 6 turns & only get up to 15 psi.

Opened a bleed valve & boost goes up again, so am thinking the WG selenoid is not working.

How do you test the selenoid.
Its closed ( cant blow through )with car running or not, wires connected or not.
Can power be supplied to open valve ?
What current should be being fed into the selenoid ?

This may be the time to go to a grainger valve style boost control setup.

Thanks

There's not much

to the solenoid, the black and pink wire supplied from a 10amp. fuse at ecm/erls on the fuse block and ground provided from the ecm on the second wire.(pink/wht) if you have continuity through the solenoid, you can assume it to be good. 12 volts at pin B and grd at pin A it should open. From there, it's wires or ecm. The stock w/g is checked at 13.5#s for operation. Hope this helps.

Put a hose on it and blow!

Have a friend move the TPS sensor by hand to WOT with the car on, but engine not running. The solonoid should startclicking, and you should be able to pass some air thru it.
