Scanmaster/powerlogger is showing code 42. I have replaced coil pack and module and code is still there. Car runs fine. Should I just not worry about this code or is there something I need to check out?

I would remove the ECM and look closely at the two electrical plugs. While it's out, remove the chip and clean the legs with a pencil eraser.

If there's any kind of corrosion, it needs to be taken care of yesterday.

No code 22 anymore, only code is 42 now and I have replaced coil pack and module which did not get rid of the code.

umplug the ecm and order you a new one. do not keep using that ecm, mine threw that same code and i would just reset ecm by unpkugging orange wire. well it ended up frying my ecm, tt chip and pl. so i'll save you from my own expeirence, just get a new ecm.

I hope he gives us an answer ...was just sayin ... and he hasn't been on here in almost 2 years ..hope for the best
