I have Just Cooled Down Enough To Talk About It!!!!

What can I say. My Friday started out with a bang....literally. On my way home from work, I was minding my own business when...BAM some idiot rear ended me. I pulled over, and so did she. When I asked for her info and insurance, she freaked out. Then I said I was going to call the CHP. That didn't make anything better. She started yelling I have to go, then she drove off!!! As she drove off I got her plate number. So here I am sitting on the side of the 5 freeway with nothing. All I have is my car with damage to it What a B*TCH. She hit me, and then had the nerve to yell at me, and drive off?!

The real kicker is I was going to trade my car in for a new truck that morning

They took it down as a hit and run. So did my insurance. He filed a report, and thats about it.

It was stop and go. My lane (the fast lane) stopped and she wanted to keep going with the flow of traffic so she tried to bounce out of my lane. She misgauged her distance and nailed me.

Might want to have a doctor check out your neck and back. You would be amazed how quickly the insurance company wants to settle when there is personal injury. Sad state of affairs!

Thats what the CHP said. I do have the plate so hopefully the car is registered to her or a close family member. I hope she gets deported....

I got checked out. They could not find any problems, I am just a little stiff in the neck from me tensing up.

I will see what I can do. For the time being you may want to buy one of those braces for your neck. Wear it around for a few days.
