If your counts are jumping all over the place at the same RPM the IAC could be bad. I don't think there is a code for it but I haven't reviewed my list of codes lately.

well its not jumping all over according to the scanmaster the #'s at idle are 00 through 05 but it idles like crap the rpm's are up and down or it will just cut off
the only thing that I have changed latly is the fuel filter and the O2 except the O2 was a nonheated

but other than this idling problem the car runs great

00 means the ECM is no longer "asking for air" from the IAC to maintain idle, therfore the idle may rise. I'd first back off the throttle blade set screw a hair and go thru the TPS setting again. Restart the car and go from there.

www.vortexbuicks-etc.com is all the goods.

verify also that you don't have any post-throttle vac leaks. Check other related scanmaster numbers such as TSP, MAF and BLM.

I know the tps is set at .42 but the rest I will have to right down
tomorrow

thanks
