If bad maf would scanmaster know?

If MAF is bad will a scanmaster know and give mal code? or is that wishy washy still could be a bad MAF just doesnt trip a code? Thanks

i was able to diagnose a bad ls1 maf. with the scanmaster set on AF i was able to see that the maf was unable to see more than 23 grams of air. thus i was leaning out at anything above even the slightest throttle input. HTH so the answer is yes

oh yeah, and the maf was setting no code

I recently had a stock MAF go bad and it threw NO code. HOWEVER, on the scanmaster my AF readings were all over the place including all the way to max when I was only at 1/4 throttle. So based on my answer and what Berserker6 posted, I would say your AF readings would be the most accurate way to see if your MAF is bad via the scanmaster
