I just had a fuel problem at the West Coast Nats in AZ this weekend. First I bought a new AccuFab regulator from Jason Cramer, that wasn't it. Then I borrowed a Fuel gauge from him. That was it!! my gauge was 20psi higher than what the actual psi was. It's a small little liquid filled gauge. Here's a picture of this junk fuel gauge.

thanks for the heads up but it might just be an isolated incedent with you. i have that gauge from jegs and i have a kb one on the hood, they both read the same. im sorry to hear about your problem and im glad you fixed it but it more than likely it isnt a problem with everyone, there a lots of guys i know with that gauge and they're good

you mean you would have run faster with the right fuel pressure??
very nice runs this weekend, it was good to attend with all of you.

Sucks when tools like that go out - it could have some very bad results.

I just had an air pressure gauge go bad on me. Like your gauge, it was off, by about 20psi, but it was acting normal - really nice to be running 60 psi in the tires :(

I installed new gauges and found my little gauge like the one you pictured was off by an equal amount as well. I did notice it was running smoother after bumping the fuel pressure up to the "true" psi.

A lot of the ....

guys have removed the gauges from the fuel rails, using the 3' braided extention sold by our vendors because the vibration seems to kill the gauge. some have gone thru 3 gauges in a year!
