Ignition cylinder key lock

Can anyone tell me how to remove the ignition cylinder on the steering column on a 87 GN?

remove steering wheel, you have to remove horn assm. and an O-ring holding turn signal cam etc. in. once u get behind that there is a small bolt holding entire key/lock assm. in remove that (i think u need the key in ign switch and turn it. and it will slide right out. you can replace it with an after market switch, however be aware that you cannot get a GM key to work in the after market switch/lock. (get a GM unit) comes w/keys
