im going to try and make this as simple as possible-

here is my original thread about where, and what front pump gears to get for my High Volume= HV front timing cover....

http://www.turbobuick.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=68602&highlight=girdle+oil+pump

i have a old BOWLING GREEN CUSTOMS front timing cover with the allen head screw on top, front crank seal that installs from the front- and it was ordered as a HV cover-

i assume that the HV front timing cover that SILVER SEAL PRODUCTS 1-800-521-2936 is the same one that everyone sells
 and has sold in the past

im in need of HV gears and a front seal-

well, BRYAN at silver seal says that the gears are the same length ( STANDARD AND HV )

someone please tell me straight up if he is wrong??????

ED-
thank you so much for the picture and your time in the other thread-

i guess i need to call back tomorrow-

can you tell me this-
does the timing cover silver seal products sells, have the hex head screw on the top next to the cam sensor hole, and the seal that goes in from the front?

BRYAN

Seal goes in the front. I'm don't remember a hex screw but I will check in the morning. It's dark out and raining hard here now..

Bryan

If you use that Silver Seal cover, make sure you loctite in that hex screw. That little SOB  worked its way loose on my cover and fell in, breaking my timing chain and ruining my motor.
