Hey guys, I'm hopeing for an easy oil pan gasket change. Am I correct with guessing I can Jack the car, loosen both engine mounts, drop the cross over duct, hook up my engine hoist, raise the engine enough to change out the gasket with no other head aches of problems? OR will the crank get in the way and I'll have to loosen or remove the tranny mount and drive shaft to provide more room to get the pan out?

Thanks in advance for your info.

it is very easy. you might not have to take off the crossover i didn't. and you most likley have to turn the crank to get the counter ballance away from the oil pan. you do not have to remove the motor mounts. always use a cork gasket!!!!!!! and clean the pick up tube.

you will need a 13 mm, 10 mm and an 8 mm sockets to do the oil pan. the 3 in the front are 10 mil, the rest ar 13 mil and the pick up tube are 8mm. torque all pan bolts to 10 ft lbs for no leaks.. good time to check the rear main seal and replace if necacery...
