Looking for any information on setting the crank and cam sensor up. Is their a tool for crank sensor? How far from blades do I place it? Basically how do you install a new one. Motor will be comming back from machine shop soon, so trying to gather anything I need to get it running. I plan on buying a cap for the cam sensor from caspers, and a new crank sensor aswell. Any help would be great !!

The crank sensor needs to be centered between the blades,The cam sensor, buying the cap and following the directions is a great idea,If not GNTYPE.org has the correct procedure

Is there an easy way to center it?

Is there any clearance issues? How do I know if I set it correctly before I start it?

Install it with the blade out of the way, turn it over with a socket and ratchet until the blade is in the center of the sensor, the loosen the pinch bolt and make sure the sensro is center on the blade

That caspers peice is nice, just set the crank at TDC and adjust it.That makes it pretty simple

Thanks for al the info
