Injector time

With a recent turbo upgrade, I have realized its time for another step up in injector size. Currently have 50#s on it.

So the question is do I go 60# or 80#. I am going for a solid mid 10et this winter (hopefully).

Any feedback on this is appreciated, especially the guys running the 80s

thanks fellas,

Tim

put a single nozzle alkycontrol kit on it or run a 7th injector on it,or you could run race gas open up the 50s and turn the pressure up with volts.

Thanks for the reply.

I made a few test runs yesterday on 116. I think I have a fuel pump issue i need to looks at first. Adding 5% more fuel helped a little, but I think its time to go thru the fuel system.

I run 80's with a tt5.7 chip. Bought together from Eric. 80's run just fine no issues. Spend the money once.

Have you considered going E85?
If your going to upgrade injectors and possibly fuel pump anyway, it’s a good opportunity to switch over. Just my 2 cents

guessing can get costly.looking at fuel pressure is key

Had a Walbro 340 for a few years. Upgraded to a Walbro 450 last year. Stock feed line, return line swapped to the vent line. I've run both 93/alky and e85 with this setup by using the WOT adjustments in the chip and raising the fuel pressure when I hit the limits in the chip.

If you have e85 in your area you should definitely consider it. It would be foolish not too.

I would go straight to 80s unless you wanna run e85 then I would jump to 160s . You always want to go bigger then u would think imo .

I think that’s the direction I’m headed.
I’m trying to figure out what pump set up to use as well.

IMOP. Go 120s. As for pump setup get. Joes single pump and hanger and fuel lines if needed

What’s Joe’s pump?
Was pretty sure to one shot it with a new hanger and lines while I’m there

broke my phone and wont have a new one for 2 days but this is what i'm talking about. if you need more info pm me

I think you need to look at duty cycle and A/F ratio to see if you need to change in the first place.

Don’t have the tune sorted out with the new turbo yet. No solid A/F due to knock.

I’m going to make sure this time upgrading the fuel system will be my last
Room to grow and more margin is what I’m after
