The instructions say to run the air line out the bottom of the coil springs. It just seems like there is no clean way to run the lines back to the bumper. How have you guys done it?

Air lines?

Lee, I run the lines out the bottom, back up the outer spring face w/ slack in it. I fasten it at 1 point, near the top of the spring, w/ a small tie wrap. I then go over to the frame, and run the hose inside thru a hole there. It comes out at the back, next to the bumper shock. I then use the stick-on tie wrap anchors, [little square plastic pieces w/ 2 sided tape on them] and run the hose along the bumper reinforcement and drop down and put the valve in one of the reinforcement holes, by removing the bolt.
The stem is readily accessible there...

I just wire-tied mine to the shock mount. A lot easier than running them back to the bumper, and still somewhat accessible. I don't need to mess with them much anyway.

I ran mine the same way. Just get a god length of hose (maybe 5' to be safe) and crawl under the car. From the bottom of the airbag, leave some slack (for suspension travel) and attach the hose up near the top shock mount somewhere with a zip tie. From there just look for a frame opening and fish it though all the way to the back bumper.

I change the air pressure every time I go to the track, and this setup sure beats crawling under the car every time to make adjustments.

I ran mine the same way. Just get two good lengths of hose (maybe 5' each to be safe) and crawl under the car. Once lines are run along/in frame to rear, remove the two small license plate bumpers and run indivual valve in those holes. Worked great for 4 years.

I put the valves in the rubber bumper filler holes behind the license plate.

Hoses run along the axle tubes over the gas tank to that spot.

Put the hoses in black plastic split loom tubing 'cause I had some. :)

I ran mine along the axle tubes on top to the center of the punkin and then in some wire wrap. Left a little slack for suspension travel and followed the gas lines up over the gas tank, Then I drilled 2 small holes right down from where the U shaped piece of metal that the trunk latches on to. All I have to do is open the trunk lid and it is easily accessable even if the trunk is full of luggage. Tarey D.:)

I did mine the exact same way as J Banning and Chuck. Just pop off the cap under the bumper and put the gauge or air hose on. Perfect fit

I ran mine just like J Banning and Salvage 6, but I put the valve stems with black caps on each side of the bumper fillers just in front of the license plates nobody has noticed them yet.

did mine slightly differently, ran them through the frame rails and back to the bumper but drilled holes in the bottom of the bumper. you can't see them unless you duck down.

Just got some bags myself. They only have a short section of line on each. Where is the best place to find extra line that will mate up to the ones on the bag? Need some length to run it somewhere for proper mounting..
TIA..

I did mine the same way as Jastrckl. It is a really neat setup. He is right nobody can't see them unless you tell thme where they are. I can't believe the difference they have made.

I ran mine a little different. Not the best, just another option.

From the bag on the bottom I run the hose out the bottom spring purch through a hole near the lower control arm bracket near the weld at the axle and then run through the lenght of the lower control arm then out and into the frame. At this point there is a hole in the frame about the size of a quarter right in front of the back tire about center cap level high. No drilling holes. Just use big washers to support the valves.

After I melted my line the first time:mad:
I had the same problem. Ended up using rubber vacuum hose, I think it was 1/4" but cant say for sure. I dont know if they measure it by ID or OD
HTH

Just take a sample to the auto parts store and they can match it up

On the melting issue, I wrapped my hose with aluminum tape to reflect and assaulting heat. Haven't run the car around much yet to see if it works.
