I can't quite get the Water Temp Gauge sender into the block. The sender is too small, and the adapter is too big (the one that came with it).

Knowing that our cars are a big mix of metric and english bolts, I got a bunch of adapters from Autozone that are metric. Nothing works.

I have an Autometer Phantom gauge. Help me guys.

my vdo water temp sending unit was a perfect fit
are you putting it in the right hole it has three places for temp sensor im not sure about this but I think one is for the temp light (which was replaced by the vdo gague) one for the computer and one for the fans

If your looking at the engin the sensor at the left of the thermostat the for my vdo gague the one to the right of the thermostat is for the computer and the one that is on top of the intake is for the fan relay
I may have the computer and fan sensor mixed up due to im not using the factory fan circuit any more
