Hi,Today I remove my intake and some coolant drops in the engine.Thats a problem?Do I need to change the oil?:(
Thanks

Definitely!!! unless you want it to get sucked through the engine and wipe out some bearing be it rod, or main.. Just think $30 for an oil change, or a couple hundred to go through your engine to put new bearings in, and replace anything else that got wrecked. Also just so you know take about a quart of oil and pour it around in your intake valley to make sure none is hanging around on the lifters, or somewhere between the valley and the pan, then change the oil and you will be fine. I know it was probably a good amount that went in the valley, especially in the rear, been there done that three times.

Hope that helps,Dan

I'd remove the pan to be safe...about half a quart(or more) stays in the bottom of the pan and doesn't drain out because the bung is on the inside...
plus if you've never had the pan off it's probably a good idea just to clean the crap out of it...it's easy to get the pan off...

1.Next time jackup car in rear a little.
2.Remove 1 lower long waterpump bolt pass-side easier.
3.Have a wet/dry vac handy.

1 and 2 helps to eliminate some of the spillage.

next time flush the coolant and drain before dissassembly ,
coolant is bad and wont evaporate
for draining to pull intake you can just use the radiator drain plug or drop lower rad hose but if doing heads or front cover i pull the long lower bolts from the waterpump and raise the car at the rear and then return to level and pull the the block drains

then once done drain and change the oil , if there is a little water left it wont hurt the motor and will evaporate off with normal driving
if you feel there may be debris in pan from gasket material (blown head gasket) or for a stripped stock timing chain you should pull the pan and inspect the pickup and replace the pickup if needed
