Interior Front Headliner Panel Question.

I removed the metal strip on the front part of the roof there and noticed 3 clips. I took a closer look and see 5 slots on the roof. Is there supposed to be 3 clips or 5 clips. Mine is missing the outter two. Or is it? I only had time to dive into one buick regal while I was at the junk yard and i removed the strip and that one only had 3 also. Are those other two holes just "there"?

Been a long time, but I think the one of my cars that I changed myself only had three.....maybe it is like body bushings, Buick skimped ?

Yep, theres only three. Be careful when pulling them out of the slot as they are one way clips and the ceter section of the clip tends to break off. Go to a trim shop if you need replacements.

I looked at a few more regals in the junkyard and they too only had 3. But I swear those other two slots look exactly like the other ones. They HAVE to be missing the clips! Just like they are missing the bushings as Steve said! Maybe I've found something here.
