i pulled my trans tonight because i blew my convertor seal out whilst spanking a cobra! i got it out, disassembled it, cleaned the case, pullled and inspected the clutches, and went through some other stuff. mind you, i don't do much tranny work. then i came home and read through my service manual. coming across the section about the intermediate band, i realize that i don't remember seeing the band anchor pin while disassembling. is it possible for the band to still apply without it, or do i have to start searching the floor for it tomorrow morning??
