Just installed a Scan Master and knock gauge, and both are reading zero knock. I called Caspers and they said I could be getting either 0 knock or maybe my sensor wire is bad.

My car is not much more than stock. It has a Joe Lubrant chip, Big Mouth intake, Walbro 340 and that is about it.

I just figured even the stock GN's would register some knock when hitting full boost/throttle.

They told me I could test the gauge by hitting the main lead wire onto a 12 volt source. I have not had a chance to do that and I guess I will just to find out what is going on.

Well sure - zero knock is the goal....Nothing wrong with zero knock as long as the sensor is good...

Yes!
When I first installed my SM, I had 0 knock until I started turning up the boost and trying to go faster. With minimal mods, like you have, zero knock is not only very possible, buy likely.
