Is the lower heater box gasket still available?

No the gaskets is discontinued. Just use what some would call Dum-Dum or seam caulking. They also make this in a tape form. Try not to use silicone as it tends to cure to fast and can seperate causing gaps and leaks.

Exactly what I was thinking. I was eyeballing a roll of the 3m stuff in the garage last night. Dum dum it is (butyl tape). Thanks turbofish.
