Is this the correct Autozone part number for the F-body radiator that everyone uses?

#433918

What year F-body is this for? This will truly be easy to install into a GN correct? Can I still use the factory style upper and lower radiator hoses or do I need specifc ones for this new radiator? I will NOT be using an oil cooler and I already have a large B+M tranny cooler.

87 IROC 5.7 liter, not sure on the part# though.Advance had the best price right around 100.00 and change.Direct fit,no need for anything else.Dropped my temp 40 degrees with AC running. All in all a good mod and much lighter than stock unit.

Just did mine a few weeks ago from Advance. I asked for 92 Z28 350, but I'm sure they are the same radiator.

I'm very happy with the results.

does anybody know if you can use the factory style upper and lower radiator hoses for this radiator just like the stock radiator???

also it looks like advance sells two different kinds of radiators for the 90-92 camaro...one is 438918 which is brass tanks and copper brass core or the 433918 which is the plastic tanks and aluminum core...which is better and what is the difference? also it looks like according to their diagrams that they both come with oil coolers? i thought those radiators didn't have any coolers inside of them...just the radiator itself?

I would also like to hear about the two radiators mentioned in the last post.
Hey Dave, how is it going? Missed a great picnic at Larry's.

They are talking about tranny oil. Does not have provisions for motor oil cooler like your stocker. You will have to run an external cooler if you still want it, which would work better anyway.

d0n_3d, [yes I quoted myself from earlier post :p ] the last YES was answering your question about the rad hoses.

I have the 433918, aluminum core with plastic end tanks. The 438918 mentioned sounds like the regular V8 rad which I ran before advancing to the AL one. It worked good, but if your like me and want better than good plus a nice weight savings go with the 433918 ;)
