They replace the fabric that is presently covering your seats. I had them make a set for me to put on my GN and was very happy with the appearance and quality. I ordered the seat covers and had a local upholstery shop put them on and it turned out very nice.

I was thinking about the leather if they have them in burgundy/maroon. Anyone have any experience with their leather seats?

Jax is making and installing dark blue and grey leather seat covers for me right now (like a blue+grey leather GN interior). They're also recovering the upper door panels and rear seat panels in stitched blue leather. They can do just about any color you want. The samples and other customer's stuff I saw while at the shop were beautiful. Paul obviously takes a lot of pride in his work.

with stitching, installation, and embroidery, I'll be a little over $1k. that's less expensive than a typical leather interior option on a new car, plus I can sell off some of the old stock blue covers that are still in decent shape.

Mike,

If you dont mind me asking what did the local upholstry shop charge you to do the two seats? I have the Jax's seat covers but havent attempted the redoing them myself and was wondering if its just easiest to drop em off and have a pro do it and pick it up.

Thanks.

It's been awhile, but I think the shop charged me about $200 to take off the old seat covers and put the new ones on. I checked around and they were in the middle as far as price, but the shop did a nice job. They were working on two very nice corvettes when I brought my car in so I knew it was in good hands.
