Hope this isn't in the wrong section but? Was wandering if the Judas Priest song turbo lover is about our beloved GN's? Can anyone fill me in on the song. Thanks.:)

yes it is in the wrong section. and no its not about the GN. Its about the lead singer Rob Halford's love of getting pumped up his rear.

Those guys in Judas Priest are gay? I am going to have to take down their posters off my wall ASAP.

Only Rob and he wrote that song along with others like "Eat me alive" that had homo overtones.

Now stuff from the 70s such as Stained Class etc were killer stuff and I still enjoy to this day.

Rob Halford somehow got away for decades without anyone figuring out he was gay.. given the way he dresses (the leather and studs and what not) and acts on stage (jamming his microphone in the tailpipe of a Harley and revving it up, and about a million other things), it's weird that he got away with it for so long.
but the way it was accepted by their fans when he did come out has to say something about the Judas Priest fanbase. they didn't really lose too many fans, and in fact they are still considered one of the best metal bands of all time and continue to sell millions of albums every year and still sell out shows.

GAy or not. Screaming for Vengence, Defenders of the Faith, British Steel.

3 killer albums, I wore them out growing up.

VH1 metal mania plays the (head out to the highway) video on just about every episode. Rob's gayness is in high gear on that one.

Even though he's a pole smoker, he still rocks. IMO he is the Frank Sanatra of the metal world. ;)

Rick do you still have that ROb Halford tatoo on your lower back?

Scott was it nervous laughter because you were at the proctologist?

yeah leave it up to me for smartazz comments eh. I do jam old Priest, there is really no other singer that could hit them high notes like he could with exception of Ian Gillian from Deep Purple.

Beyond the relms of death...try and hit them notes
Victim of changes... no need to elaborate.
Screaming for vengence. ushering in the 80's

Most however dont know that Green Manelishi with the two pronged crown was a cover tune originally done by Fleetwood mac.

You mean my tramp stamp? Of course. ;) LOL!
LOL! Trailer park license plate.

Actually, although more of a hair metal singer, Miljenko Matijevic that fronts Steelheart can nail some insane high notes. Case in point,

3:27-4:23 =.
