Are they good pistons for a GN wild mild heads and a stock bottom head running 20-25 with a 62 turbo? I'm on a budget and don't feel like dishing out 700 bucks for J/E's + rings to boot. Any other options that are decent pistons for my application close to the 300-500 dollar range rings included..

Stock Pistons are O.K.
TRW Forged Pistons are better, but you have to get lighter Wrist Pins because they are too heavy.
That's about the cheapest way to go.

The new forged Speed Pro/Trw comes w/ the light weight pins and revised oiling upgrades. They can be bought for under $290 a set. The only draw back I see is, they only come in a standard and .30 over bore.
