Knock Guage Problem

Installed one of Casper's knock guages. In the instructions it said that the green light should come on when you first start the car. Well it doesn't. So I started reverifying all the connections. I have a good ground, the switched 12 volts is there and I have a good soldiered splice on the yellow wire with the black stripe at the ECM. The guage shows no knock at all when under acceleration so I wonder if it is even working at all. Any ideas?

if the middle green light doesnt light up.. the gauge IS NOT on..

if you wanna check for knock you could lightly tap on the block with a hammer somewhat near the knock sensor.. if it doesnt light up then, its not connected right..
