knock problem...help

Problem.....first i have some noise coming from the top of the motor it sounds like....sounds like a lifter noise....only shows up on scanmaster at 2100-2400 rpm while just crusing...knock goes away under throttle....any ideas....

There's no actaul Knock on scanmaster? If it goes away under throttle it might be a oil problem.

Is it a chatter sound?

yes i would call it that...like a rattle...what can i do..

I have a rattle on mine also, but it's the alternator, i'm waiting for it to die so I can get a new one.

Have you tryed pinpointing the sound? Use like a screwdriver to your ear (be careful )
