Knock sensor movement...

Well, I was feeling around for my knock sensor, and i found it. But i realized the black plastic boot that has the yellow wire running to it, it wiggles. Like it isnt attached 100% or broken.

Is it a problem that it wiggles at all? The sensor it self doesnt move, but the plastic plug does. I'm planning on replacing the sensor soon, but just dont want to get a few things cleared up.

Nope, it's normal. It is a Mushroom style connector and it does move a little bit. This goes for all the ones that I've ever messed with had slight movement on the connector. You should be ok.
