What is the easiest way to get to the knock sensor? I want to make sure it is torque down correctly. I have removed the coil pack and ignition module. Still having trouble getting to the knock sensor and what size socket do i need?

I used a small torque wrench (about 7 inches long), a short extension and a deep socket to reach the knock sensor.

I torqued it to 168 inch pounds. I think the torque spec is 14 ft pounds. Don't remember the socket size, but it was close to 13/16ths. Retorquing my sensor eliminated my KR altogether :)

When I unplug the knock sensor do I pull up or is there another way to disconnect it? I have a habit of breaking things;)

hvyw8, once you get hold of the connector you have to squeeze it together then pull up. It is oval shaped so when you squeeze it round it allows it to come off.
