Up until this week I have been running a LS1 Granatelli MAF with the Translator Plus (Without the spark advance hooked up) and a custom chip that was burned for the stock MAF.
I added in the Extender chip earlier this week. Car ran great, no problems.
Today I wired in the Extender chip (had to add some hotwires to the ECM, the Shift lever and AC weren't changing parameters). I also finally hooked up the Spark Translator part of the Trans +. I had been running the FP at what it was when I got the car to go along with the other chip (50 PSI, line off), but I switched it back to the 45 PSI the Extender calls for.
Now there is a large skip right around the shift to Drive at WOT. I don't get the skip if I'm not at WOT.
I reversed everything I did, set the Trans + back to non Extender Mode, cleared out the parameters from the Extender, set FP at 50 PSI..... but I still have the skip.
The only thing I didn't do was take the Spark Translator back to stock. Should I try that?
Any ideas?
