Just wondering if it was 50s that the stock computer can handle. When you bump up to 55s , thats when you have to get the comp modded. Set me strait if I heard wrong. I am planing my upgrades, don't want to keep changing injectors out. Just want to buy once and be done with it. :P

thanks

Racetronix offered some high imps with a tiny bit increase above 50#, but yes, 50# is generally considered the last step before the low imp mod is needed.

Bob Bailey is highly recommended for the ECM mod.

Once you get the ECM modded with the P&H drivers, you will be able to use either low or high impedence injectors.

Delphi 50's are currently the most popular high impedance injector available. There are many chip vendors who have good calibrations for these injectors.

Racetronix has the 50's on sale now and in stock:

Racetronix will also be carrying Siemens 55's in a high impedance model very shortly however they would require a custom chip as their fuel delivery differs slightly from the low impedance models.

If you intend to get your ECM equipped with the peak-hold drivers then you may use any low impedance injector. This would be the best approach although it would cost a bit more money.

Racetronix has a sale on Siemens injectors at www.racetronix.com
