I have a car cover that's on my car 5 days a week. I'd like to launder it but wasn't sure if there is some kind of water resistor in there that would be washed out. I know I'd have to use a front load commercial size washing machine.

2nd question. I bought a center cap off a lister and it's just like the one I was trying to replace...broken! It's not worth my aggravation tryin to send it back, so I might as well attempt to fix it. Two or three pins are broken off the back (Typical). What's the best adhesive to repair this with? I was thinkin Gorilla Snot

I have two cars i keep covered and three covers i use.I was them periodically in a comm. front load machine(like you said) and then let them air dry on beautiful Carolina days.So far---no ill affects at all and they come out looking great.
