Life of orignal tires?

Just looking thru the documentation on my car.... the original (lady) owner replaced the tires at 48,000 miles.

Anyone's have any stories of ORIGINAL TR tires making in longer?

The original Goodyear Eagle GT's lasted 40k miles on my 84
WH1 T-Type and were replaced with original style Goodyear
Eagle GT's. Still have the originals on the GN. My daily driver
T last set of GoodYear Eagle GT II's only lasted about 20k
miles.
