well i think i have a lifter making noise, nuts... well anyways i noticed that the car is a quart low on oil, so i figured why not just change the oil anyways since its almost that time. so im going to do that either today or tomorrow... will this eliminate the lifter noise? or do i need new lifters?

and my second question is, if i have synthetic in my car, is it possible to go back to regular oil? i heard once you switch you cant go back..

well any input is appreciated, peace

Same here

Having the same problem but it only does it when it is cold just for about two seconds. So do I need to change out the lifters are is there something I can do to cure this

Thanks
Brent

I have the same problem but am always told to get used to it. Supposedly the 206 206 cam is the reason. It drives me nuts. That is one of the things that I cant stand the most about my GN. That and the clouds of smoke when I start it. I am going to try the heavier duty lifters. Hopefully the have tighter clearances and are quieter.
