Lost turbo stud to header flange nut size? please help

The nuts are torque prevailing - they a squished so the holes are egg shaped, so they don't work loose.

If you want the proper ones John Craig can hook you up...
 
I'm kinda going on a road trip with the car, I dont have time to order anything.

I could try lock washers Until I get back.
 
10mm x 1.5 pitch tried this nut but it feels tight after few turns.

I will bring the other nut to the HW store and see what comes up.

It might even be a finer thread than that. Perhaps a 1.75 pitch? I ran into that when I dropped one of the metric bolts that bolt the turbo brace (that bolts to the front of the block).

It turned out to be a finer thread than what I thought it was. The best thing to do is like you said - take the other to the store and match it up. Good luck.
