I know this has been beat to death because I've read just about every post regarding this problem but nothing I've tried has worked. When I fixed a vacuum leak my blms tanked. Many were sub 100! Maybe I should put the vacuum leak back in. Today's numbers were:
118 116 114 125
128 114 109 105
128 128 110 105
128 128 128 105
This was running about 42# fuel pressure. Car starts fine but smells rich. Fuel pressure at idle and cruise is 36# so the regulator seems to working. Holds pressure after engine is turned off. Swapped O2 sensors (cross counts were fine). Replaced LT1 maf, translator +, and extender chip with stock type maf and another chip. Swapped ecm. Plugs were replaced before the nats. I pulled them and they indicate a rich condition system wide, not just one or two cylinders. Adjusted translator for lean idle and 10% lean wot. Tried a different chip with the LT1 maf and translator. Just installed a Houston pipe and test/dump so the cat's not a factor. Ran a gallon of xylene through it to clean the injectors. (Probably a 5 to 1 mix).
At the track it struggles above 3500. Coil pak is at least 4 years old. Ignition module was replaced last year with new Borg Warner.
Really reaching now. Thanks.
