low fuel light

i just istalled the low fuel light in my 87 gn i doesnt work is there something else i must do to make it work

I installed the module in my car, works fine, comes on at about 1/8th of a tank. No modifications needed.

Mine has to get really low before the fue light comes on - basically on E.

The car has to be darn near out of gas before the light comes on.

Which wa do you align it? In other words where does the nothched end of the circuit board face ?

I just installed mine and have a question, is the light supposed to come on when you first turn on the key, like the volt water temp and oil pressure guages do?
