So does anyone have a low mileage 87 GN with all the plastic on the seats for sale?

No

I would like to buy one that is new so I can take it to car shows to educate the public about the Buick way!

saywin,

I do not have such a car, but will say this....... I have a decent example and can tell you what you will think in a relatively short amount of time with a car of what you are searching for. As far as local car shows go, in our area, watching people bump, lean, sit on, touch, roll baby strollers between, watch leaners with those big ole Texas belt buckles, chained wallets..... I think you get my point.............. When I first got mine I made about 10 car shows that year. (3 years ago). This year I went to 1. Ive had a few stupid things happen that would just make you hold your head in disbelief. To me, it isnt worth it.

1 show, went and registered for the show. Came back to put tag on car. A woman who I dont know was sitting in it getting her picture taken.

Same show, same day, Im sitting at the back of the car in a fold up chair. I hear a popping noise. I go to the other side of my car to see what is going on. A mother is looking at the car next to me. Her child, holding her hand is taking his lolly pop rapping it down the side as they walk through.

maybe the next month, doors closed, windows down. Walk up to my car after looking at the others in the show. A guy is teetering on the door top stomach down, looking inside car.

Theres more, I think you get where Im going with it though. Point being, there are those out their that respect the cars and are cool to talk with. Then there are the others that have no respect for other peoples property. Point being, depending on the level of car shows you plan to educate others at,maybe a lesser quality car than you are seeking would be better suited.

I want a Grand National that is in fact Grand, so I can take to indoor classy shows that are roped off! I take my GN to the local outdoor shows and I really enjoy that, I know what you are talking about and yes sometimes that can be hard to take in. I really believe in these cars and always have, in fact the only other classic car I could ever own would be a Smokey and the Bandit Trans Am. I would love to put my cowboy hat and a fake mustache and dress my wife up in her wedding dress and drive down the highway watching her change into her favorite blue jeans!!!!!
Sincerely,
Chad

Cause for concern for anything still wrapped in plastic would be the originality of the plastic.
