Lower brace kit

I just instaled a Mease stretch I/C on my 87 T. I had the lower brace kit on the car before the I/C swap now the pass side wont fit anymore. Anybody out their know of any tricks on getting them to fit ?

3 pound hammer and a large vise.

Had to do it on both cars.
