lucky turn of events!

Hello all. My father-in-law gave me his 85 regal coupe. It's a little rough around the edges, but it's just cosmetics. It has a 350 (he says from a 68 camaro). I still have more research, and cleaning to do, lol. The main reason I am here is to find out what component of the steering assembly determines how far the car can turn in either direction? This regal will turn SUPER sharp one way, but makes wide turns the other way. You will see much from me in the coming months as I restore this diamond in the rough!!!

Might have had the arm put onto the steering box with the wheels straight and the box not centered.
Or could have the end links different lengths(there is an adjustment collar).
